Some symptoms may occur depending on the location of the tumor. For example, a tumor in the front of the brain can cause behavioral abnormalities, sudden anger, and attention deficit. Symptoms may include gradual paralysis of one side of the body, vision problems, walking problems, imbalance, speech problems, seizures, hearing problems, etc.

Tests: A CT scan or MRI of the brain is the most important along with a physical exam to diagnose a tumor. Apart from this some more tests are required.

Treatment: Tumor is nothing to fear. This disease can be cured if the symptoms are treated quickly. Treatment options for brain tumors include medical treatment, surgery, radiotherapy and in some cases chemotherapy. The main treatment for brain tumors is surgery. There are some tumors, which are quite small in size, that can be completely cured by medication alone. And if the doctor asks for an operation, then it is better to do the operation without undue delay.
