Scabies, fungal infection, paronychia, some fungal diseases like scabies occur at this time. Many skin diseases occur during monsoons due to not wiping the wet body properly, putting on wet clothes without drying them properly, dampness due to lack of sun etc. Therefore, to keep yourself safe from this monsoon disease, you should always keep towels, brushes, combs clean and dry.
Rainwater should be thoroughly wiped off the body and head, especially the hands and toes should be thoroughly washed. Road dirt and flood water should be avoided. If you have to travel alone, you must wash your feet and sandals thoroughly with soap and water after returning home. Still, if these diseases occur, then a doctor must be consulted. Wet areas of the house should be kept clean regularly so that rain water does not accumulate.
Typhoid
fever: Typhoid is one of the water borne diseases. Water or food containing
bacteria is responsible for this disease. Wash your hands and take food.
Virus fever: Although it persists throughout the year, the incidence of this fever increases during monsoon. The fever lasts for three to seven days, along with cold-cough, shaking hands and feet, weakness, loss of appetite etc.
Jaundice: The main source of this disease is contaminated water. A patient's urine turns yellow as a result of hepatitis or jaundice. Patient feels weak, nauseous, aversion to food. Normal liver function decreases.
Fungal Infections: Fungal infections can occur in between the toes, groin, scalp and hair if they are wet with sweat or water for a long time. Fungal infections can be treated with antifungal creams and special hair shampoos.
Worm
infestation: Worm prevalence is high during monsoons. At this time, this
parasite is mixed in water and clay. Therefore, worm infection occurs more
easily in monsoon than any other season. At this time everyone should take worm
medicine.
