What heart patients should and shouldn't eat during Eid

Many people who have a doctor/nutritionist in their family must have heard that the number of heart attack/stroke patients in hospitals increases overnight after Eid. That's why heart patients are quite worried about Eid food and drink.

Many people want to know how heart patients should eat and drink during Eid. There is no simple guideline, no specific diet plan in the world that will keep all heart patients healthy, because heart disease occurs in many forms and for many reasons.

Again, each patient's metabolism is different, this is a very natural thing. So, it is not possible to give a specific diet plan. But we can follow some techniques to avoid heart attacks during Eid.

What not to do
1) Completely avoid Dalda-Vegetable Butter/Ghee
2) Definitely do not drink Coca-Cola-Pepsi-Sprite or similar drinks
3) After fasting, the highest number of cigarettes are sold in Bangladesh on Eid. Avoid smoking at all costs.
4) Many people drink alcoholic beverages on the night of the moon and Eid. Avoid this
5) Do not eat oily food and sugary food at the same time, keep a gap of at least 8 hours. Sweet fat or sugary fat is one of the most dangerous foods for the heart

Things to do
1) Include enough green vegetables or green salad in your diet (at least 30% of the plate)
2) Do not eat a whole plate of polao, tehari, kachchi in one sitting
3) Increase the use of these three spices: garlic-ginger-black cumin.
Chew two cloves of garlic before and after meals in the morning, eat on an empty stomach, and eat ginger after every meal. Take 1 teaspoon of ginger juice in lukewarm water 2-3 times a day, mix it with 1/2 teaspoon of black cumin oil. If you have acid reflux or gas problems, it is better not to eat black cumin oil.
4) There is no benefit in being too devoted to lemon. Many heart disease patients have gas problems. Increasing gas while protecting heart health is not a good strategy.
5) Eat Civit Fort 1-1:30 hours after eating every meal.
6) For those who have Life Extension Magnesium at home, take 500-1000 mg of magnesium daily during Eid and the 7 days following Eid.
7) Check your blood pressure regularly and contact the nearest hospital if your blood pressure remains above 160 for more than 6 hours after taking your medicine.

With a little effort, we can prevent the joy of Eid from turning into tears. Caution is needed. Do not eat rich food + sugary drinks together under the pressure of your wife, daughter or friends, do not smoke, do not use artificial ghee at home. May Allah make everyone's Eid joyful, Amen! Source: Sajal's Diet Philosophy
