Foods that should not be eaten with milk


Everyone from children to the elderly needs to drink milk for adequate nutrition. Many people include milk in their daily diet. Some eat fruits, oil and spiced foods with milk. But not everyone has the same digestive capacity. That is why it is better not to drink milk with some foods.

Yogurt: Although it is a dairy product, eating yogurt with milk is harmful to the body. If you have problems with gas and acidity, eating these two foods together can worsen them.

 

Citrus fruits: Oranges, grapefruits, pineapples - these types of citrus fruits can never be eaten with milk. These fruits are rich in acid. The acid present in the fruit does not allow the milk protein to be digested easily. This can cause problems like gas and stomach ache. Not only with milk, but it is also better not to eat sour fruits before and after drinking milk.

 

Jaggery: Many dishes are prepared by mixing jaggery with milk. They are very delicious to eat. But if you have stomach problems, it is better not to eat jaggery with milk. Sugar can be eaten instead.

 

Fish: If you have digestive problems, fish and dairy products should not be eaten together. Protein foods like fish and milk can cause stomach poisoning together. This can lead to stomach problems and even increased allergy problems.

 

Salty foods: Eating salty foods like chips, cookies, and crackers with milk can cause digestive problems. It can also upset the electrolyte balance in the body.
